Why I Started Soulshivaya – A Journey into Spiritual Life

I was just 17 when I first turned to Lord Shiva. It was during my school days—a time filled with stress, confusion, and the usual struggles with studies and friendships. I didn’t fully understand spirituality back then, but something in me was drawn to His presence.

The first time I truly worshipped Him, I felt it. A calm, quiet strength—something I had never felt before. From that day, I began praying to Him every single day. No grand rituals, just simple, sincere devotion.

And slowly, things began to change.

My relationships with friends improved. My results in school got better. But more than anything, I felt supported, protected, and guided. Like Shiva was silently walking beside me, helping me grow through it all.

Years later, that connection has only deepened.

SoulSattva is my offering—a space to share this journey with others. To reflect on Lord Shiva’s wisdom, His silence, His strength. And to show that even in the middle of a busy life, there is space for stillness, devotion, and peace.

Through this blog, I hope to gently guide others who are seeking. To help even one soul feel the presence of Lord Shiva the way I did—that would mean everything.

Om Namah Shivaya.

Building Bridges with Faith: Rama’s Offering to Lord Shiva

In the age of Treta Yuga , when righteousness began to flicker and demons roamed freely, the Supreme Lord Vishnu descended as Rama , the prince of Ayodhya. Born to uphold dharma, Rama was not only a warrior but a beacon of humility, restraint, and love. But even the mightiest need guidance. Even the divine bows before the formless. After the exile, after the golden forests and the long walk of patience, Rama found himself standing before a vast ocean with his wife Sita been  abducted by the demon king Ravana , who ruled the island of Lanka. Rama’s army of Vanaras (monkey warriors) stood ready. Yet, he did not move. He looked at the waves and felt a silence stir within him. Rama knew this battle was not just of arrow...it was a battle of destiny. And to step forward, he had to step inward first. He gathered stone...not to throw, but to build a Lingam . With his own hands, the Supreme Vishnu shaped a form of Lord Shiva from the sand and earth at Rameshwaram , where the land kiss...
